Amy Quackenbush: Owner, Colorist and Designer
A talented colorist and designer for more than 20 years, as a salon owner, Amy holds her business to a high standard, making sure all Adele stylists undergo continued education. Respected by a loyal following, Amy clients travel from all over the United States and parts of Europe for her blonding expertise. Everything from bright California beach washed blonde, to the subtle sun-kissed locks, Amy’s blonding skills are not to be missed. Amy draws inspiration from the feminine but fashion-forward 1960s (think Brigitte Bardot and Sofia Loren), but she stays current on emerging trends to meet each client’s needs. Amy’s belief that your hair should be a compliment of you, not all of you, has created an expansive client list. Amy’s work has been praised in various magazines including Allure, InStyle, Seattle Magazine and Seattle Refined. Outside the salon, you’ll find her collecting SkyMiles around the globe, learning a new skill and hanging with her French Bulldog Harvey. Laughter is her drug and blondes are her specialties. Amy studied with Gene Juarez Academy, Bumble and Bumble, and apprenticed with Margi David Salon before striking out on her own.
Jenna McClure: Colorist and Designer
Over 15 years ago Jenna quickly made a name for herself in the industry. She has been praised in Seattle Magazine and amongst her peers as the it girl for a “less is more” fresh look, beachy blonde pops of color, or the classics with a twist. Jenna is committed to learning the latest looks and techniques in hair. She has studied with Bumble and Bumble, 901 salon, Briana Cisneros (Global educator for Wella) and Habit hand tied hair extensions. Your visit with Jenna will not only include great hair but also some 90’s trivia and the perfect book recommendation. On her off days you can find Jenna reading a book or camping all while enjoying her husband and two kids.
Karen Andrew: Colorist and Designer
Karen is a California girl who has called Seattle “home” for almost 20 years. Karen loves to deliver radiant color and precision cuts and also wants to hear all about the last book you read and your favorite podcast. In her free time Karen hangs out with family and friends and her rescue dog, Mr. Hugpaws. She loves to road trip all over the West Coast and Pacific Northwest and when quarantine is lifted you will find her singing her heart out at any karaoke bar. Karen is a volunteer art teacher at her child’s elementary school and is also in the Masters of Nonprofit Leadership program at Seattle University. Making connections and building relationships while giving you the best hair is what Karen is all about.
Kate Gardner: Designer
After almost 20 years delivering precision haircuts behind the chair, Kate loves the opportunity she has to meet people from all over the world and get forty-five minutes to talk about life with them in her chair. Kate loves classic clients who know what works for them. She also loves new clients looking for some fresh eyes to modernize and personalize their style. She loves trend-setting clients who are ever graduating to new looks and want her to take them there! Kate deeply appreciates what can happen when a client leaves her chair with a bounce in their step, new information about most any topic or just had a chance to take a break from their busy lives. When she’s not cutting hair you can find her chatting over the fence with neighbors while gardening, entertaining friends over amazing food or playing games with her husband and two children.
